A single gene CANNOT control the aging process. If there was a gene that controlled aging it would of already been altered naturally and a new major species would be around (Humans don’t count because we made our own lifespans longer). The aging process CANNOT be slowed down by altering genes. Time takes a toll on ALL of your organs and tissues. Altering aging genes can result in problems and can lead to a horrible death. I’m all for genetics engineering but this is just stupid.
i must say, you have to make this really exspensive so that only the people that can afford it can be the one to live longer. there for we dont get over populated.
If we create something to make us live longer the end of the world will come much faster. death it a way to balance the population were already being born faster than dieing sooner or later there just wont be any more room.

Am I the only one of the few who think that death is probably one of our greatest gifts? I do believe in a high quality of life but enduring for all eternity is repulsive to me. If this helps make us healthier, great. I’m all for it and good health as long life and good health are synonymous. Perhaps we can get near same outcome by improving industry. I think we undercut any effort by poisoning our environment.

I bought a liquid resveratrol drink at Whole Foods today. It contains 500mg Japanese knotweed that is 50% resveratrol per serving, and it says to take one to three servings a day. I actually like the taste, so if I drank 16 servings, or half the bottle, in one day, is it possible to overdose on this stuff?

This product is good and stimulates one of the bodies known antioxidant enzymes, however a product called PROTANDIM is much better and has a ton more clinical proof!
